What Andrew's been up to this week

First, the news, and then, the NEWS. Scroll down for something super cool. :-)

Andrew and his BTLOG bandmates just finished the first leg of their annual Christmas tour—five shows in five days—and now they've earned a few days' rest before they hit the road again. Here's a little bit of what they've been up to.From last night's concert in Memphis, Tennessee:[embed]https://www.instagram.com/p/BNn_FvHgRQF/?taken-by=andrewpetersonmusic[/embed]And from Houston, this shot by photographer Bill Jacomet (click for more):[embed]https://www.flickr.com/photos/jacofoto/albums/72157673289973544[/embed]While trundling along in the tour bus, Andrew had an interview with Jeremy Wiggins of American Family Radio's "In the Trenches." Click here to listen as they talk about balancing projects, embracing community, Andrew's "Behold the Lamb' tour, the Creaturepedia, art as a form of worship, Rich Mullins, the authors Andrew loves, and the great and hopeful purpose behind ruining Janner Igiby's life.

Our amazing, peerless, remarvelant, hard-working, glorious producer Chris has finished primary shipping of all the Kickstarter rewards—huzzah!—which means now there are extra goodies available to purchase! While supplies last, you can get a gift pack full of posters! tattoos! stickers! patches! and a bookmark! If you missed the Kickstarter or would like to stock up for gift-giving purposes, head over to the Rabbit Room Store. A note from the Librarian: I am loving all the conversation happening around the site these days! Your enthusiasm is so, so fun to witness—a joy for me, and a huge honor and encouragement for Andrew. :-) As you engage the stories, characters, art, and each other, please make sure to be kind in all of your comments. If you are not sure about how to do this, ask me and I will help. I am glad to have you here.—Madame Sidler

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Featherheads!I'm still getting used to the customs and holidays of my new home here in your world, but one that I have so enjoyed over the last two years has been this day set aside to think of all the reasons I have to be grateful. A whole day! I think of reasons to be grateful nearly every day—even bad days can offer some reason to give thanks, if you look hard enough—but a whole day to be grateful is a wonderful thing. So, what are you thankful for today? I'll start. :-)

Kickstarter update #24: Shipping!

I never thought I'd reach the bottom!—Keith Yager

Kickstarter packages are already shipping! This weekend at the Rabbit Room there was a full-scale invasion (still ongoing, in fact) to sort, stack, stuff, and ship over two thousand packages full of stickers, tattoos, Wingfeather Tales, posters, T-shirts, patches, and more. Even as I type this the packing continues, and this morning we saw two full mail trucks drive away with your loot! If you follow Wingfeather on Facebook, you may have already seen a video of Saturday's insane packing party, and here it is again in case you missed it. It was SO FUN. :-)[embed]https://www.facebook.com/WingfeatherSaga/videos/1322845241080957/[/embed] And here are some close-ups. :-)img_7044Packages!Character cards!img_7065Your packages are going to start arriving any day now! This has been a loooong process (and there is still much work to be done—digital rewards are still coming, and of course there is the pilot itself!), but soon you will be able to hold in your hands so much of the stuff you helped to fund. Guys: This is amazing. I can't wait for you to see all these beautiful things we made you, which you helped us make. And we would love to see your excitement and the looks on your faces as you see these things for the first time! Would you take a photo or video of that moment and post it for us? Whether on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, just tag @wingfeathersaga. :-)And now: Back to packing!

Have you seen any hideous, delightful, or flappulous creatures in your area? There's a thread in the forum for reporting such sightings. :-)
