I’ve come across several encouraging reviews from the Christian Science Fiction/Fantasy bloggers and thought I’d post a few links here. This first is a quick interview with Chawna Schroeder.
Rebecca LuElla Miller, an insightful reader and writer who in her review of On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness helped me grapple with the idea of Theme in my writing, has some interesting things to say about Tink’s avoidance of responsibility.
Phyllis Wheeler also gave it a thumbs-up and summarized the thoughts of a few other bloggers.
And Robert Treskillard shares thoughts about the book, the characters, and the influences (some of which hadn’t occurred to me).
There are more, but that’ll do for now. Thanks to all the bloggers who are putting so much time and thought into this. In the words of Grimple Wainthwat, “You’re too kind. And I’m too whiskery.”

Hi Andrew,
It was great to get to “know” you through your books and the blog tour. Please keep writing. I have great expectations for you.
A thought: maybe you should release a CD with music that is appropriate for Aerwiar, some of Leeli’s tunes, etc. Or did you do that already?
I participated in the blog tour but was unable to review the book as I didn’t get a copy in time, but I’ve enjoyed reading about it, it sounds like great fun. And the world needs more fun….
Andrew, thanks for posting a link to my site. Also, I forgot to mention on my blog that Oskar, and all his quotes, is my favorite character, so that was a great way to end your post.
Hi, Andrew, thanks for the link and the affirmation related to our theme conversation.
This is a great way to interact with blog tour participants in lieu of dropping comments at every site—something I’m sure would be difficult for a busy author/musician. I might suggest this to others in the future.
Becky
