In February I had the pleasure of visiting Mrs. Barnett’s 3rd grade class at Simpsonville Elementary in Kentucky. It was one of the best groups of students I’ve had the pleasure of visiting, partly because they were just a few chapters from finishing On the Edge, and I got to read Janner out of the long night in the weapons chamber and into the light of a new day. A few days ago I was delighted to receive a package in the mail containing the following pictures. As always, the genius is in the details, and in this case it’s in the descriptions, too.
