“The toothy cow defies description. It oozes fear as it oozes slobber from its oozy teeth. Such feral ferocity! Such girthic savagery! Its eye fixes upon me in my darkest dreams and I am frozen whilst it moos over me with great hunger.
This was drawn from the confines of my trusty hedgeberry bush costume, an itchy but effective cover from which to view the horrors of Skree.”

I agree Elisabeth!! lol I LOVE his music!! (“Just as I am” is my favorite)
I think his name is Andrew… But the illustrations are wonderful; I like the chorkneys best. I am not quite so good at art yet, but I’m getting there… Being thirteen, I can probably say that I am not one of the youngest readers; my sister was ten when she read them… Keep writing mr. Peterson!
I agree. I was 11 when I tried to read it but I hadn’t finished the first one until I was 12 myself. I like his music too. ( I say as I listen to one of his CDs.
I am 10 years old and can’t wait till your next book.I have read the first three and I have offically decided your books are my favorite.P.S.Queen of Iowa almost made me cry
I totally agree with Emily.Andrew Peterson is a great writer and I to would like to be both writer and artist.FANGS!!!
Wow….I have just finished North or be eaten, and was taken away with the skill and creativity of Mr Peterson. I am probably one of his youngest, and most avid readers. Being only 12, I found that quite a few of my parents friends had read books from the Wingfeather saga. I cannot wait for the third, and will be watching Exclusive Books for it. The illustrations were out of this world! And if I pursue my love of art, I will always look back on the the extraordinary illustrations. I wouldn’t mind being a write either. William Peterson inspires me in everyday life. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and find myself still stuck in Glipwood after last nights read!
