This week Andrew sat down for a conversation with his friend Jonathan Rogers, a renowned writing teacher in the Nashville area (pro tip: he also teaches online!). In this episode of The Habit, five of the Wingfeather Tales contributors—Andrew Peterson, Jennifer Trafton, Pete Peterson, Doug McKelvey, and Jonathan Rogers—discuss collaboration, community, and, of course, the Tales. :-) You can listen right here.

What is Wingfeather Tales, you may ask?
The Tales are six short stories set in the world of Aerwiar, written by six phenomenal writers, including not only Andrew but also A.S. Peterson, Jennifer Trafton, N.D. Wilson, Jonathan Rogers, and Douglas McKelvey. You may know some of these writers already from their other books, and here they bring their own unique voices and styles to Aerwiar. Have you ever wished, for example, to read the Ballad of Lanric and Rube? Well, now you can!
This collaborative project also includes a whole pile of artists and illustrators: Aedan Peterson, Justin Gerard, Cory Godbey, Jay Myers, Doug TenNapel, John Hendrix, Nicholas Kole, Joe Sutphin, and—all new to this edition!—Hein Zaayman.
Whether you’re feeling homesick for Aerwiar, itching for more adventure or a good laugh or cry, feeling kinda bored, or just like new pictures, don’t miss this book. :-)
Audiobooks out now!
The day is finally here! Rejoice, O hearers of tales, for your author hath read you four whole books, and they art even now available at yon Audible (and other platforms here)! Venture forth to seek their mellifluent marvels, and be not harried by cows (toothy!) upon thine way!
A new LEGO project
Several months ago I ran across a super cool thing: A LEGO Ideas project pitched by a Wingfeather fan, featuring a rooftop battle in Dugtown. Last week I was alerted to a new project pitch: The Igiby Cottage! It’s beautiful, and according to the official LEGO comments, has already surpassed a project milestone of 100 supporters. Head over here to check it out, and if you’d like to see it in stores, give it a vote and share with your friends.
